Prop Trading

Three desks,
one balance sheet.

Hidden Lattice Capital trades digital assets, frontier assets, and futures and rates. Research, trading and engineering sit on the same floor.

What each desk does

Digital Assets

24/7 market making

We quote two-sided markets in major cryptocurrencies and derivatives on leading venues. Automated systems manage inventory, spreads and hedging around the clock, supervised by traders.

Frontier Assets

Compute, spectrum, bandwidth

Pricing, forward contracts and over-the-counter liquidity in markets that have no exchange.

Futures & Rates

Index, energy and fixed income

A liquidity business in mature markets that finances and hedges the frontier desks. Every position nets against the rest.

Frontier Assets

Markets without screens

These markets have no reference prices, no standard contracts and no order books. We build pricing models, write the first forward contracts, and quote in size we can manage.

AI compute

We price compute-hours, structure forwards on capacity, and quote as the asset becomes tradable.

Spectrum & satellite

Spectrum rights and satellite bandwidth are scarce, regulated and priced by negotiation. We price them and provide liquidity over the counter.

New markets

We do not keep a fixed list. We start work when something scarce trades by negotiation and demand is growing.

Research

Research

Researchers work from raw market data, tick-level and full-depth. A signal has to survive out of sample, after costs, at size.

Research sits on the trading floor. A model can be quoting live markets within days, with P&L attributed back to the hypothesis behind it.

Technology

Technology

We build our own exchange connectivity, order management, market data capture, simulation and real-time risk. Latency matters. Correctness matters more.

Engineers own systems end to end, from colocation hardware to risk dashboards. The same code that backtests a strategy replays it against production data nightly.

Open roles

We are hiring across trading, research and engineering in London.
